Registration is nearing the end for our next EMT course, scheduled to begin on January 9, 2018… so don’t delay! Approved by the State of NH, it will involve over 160 hours of class & lab time, which includes NH’s Scope of Practice Programs and follows the National Standard Curriculum. Upon successful course completion, students will be eligible to take State and National Registry licensing exams.
This well-respected program will run through the end of June, 2018. Classes will be held every Tuesday evening from 5:30-9:30 along with clinical labs 1 Saturday/month from 8am-4pm.
In addition to mandatory class and lab attendance, students will participate in a minimum of 10 hours in clinical observation at specific EMS sites in Keene. Access to a computer with high speed internet, email, and printing capabilities on a regular basis is required throughout this course! While there are no course prerequisites, prior anatomy & physiology is recommended.
The cost of this intense program is $750, if paid in full by 12/15/2017; this includes all required training materials (including a student manual and the online companion website), along with the AHA’s BLS CPR certification course. Additional expenses may involve the costs of: a) obtaining required vaccines or TB testing, b) health and liability insurance (if not affiliated with a department), c) a criminal background check (if licensing in NH), d) State & National Registry licensing exams, and e) medical equipment/clothing as desired.
